Security deposit

Ailanbeg Cottage Security deposit:
A refundable security deposit of £100 is requested on final payment.
If you prefer you may pay the security deposit in cash on arrival.
Please do state on booking how you would like to pay for the security deposit.
(on any bookings within 14 days of arrival this security deposit of £100 has to be paid in cash on arrival)
This security deposit will be refunded via cheque to the person making the booking provided:

You agree to take all proper and reasonable care of the cottage, its furniture, pictures and effects and to leave the cottage in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the start.
You agree to inform us of any damage, breakage or loss arising during your stay. Any items not reported as damaged or which are missing from the cottage will be charged in full.
You agree not to smoke inside the cottage exept in the designated area.
You agree that the number of people occupying the cottage will not exceed the number stated in the booking without our explicit agreement. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.
You agree to take all your belongings with you at the end of your stay as we cannot guarantee to find missing items or return them to you.
You agree to allow us, or our agents, the right of entry at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out essential repairs or maintenance.

If these conditions are not satisfied, we will deduct all reasonable costs from your security deposit.
If the cottage is found to be in a poor state of cleanliness when left, we will charge a minimum of £ 25 as an excess cleaning charge.
You will be informed about any deductions by means of email, letter or any other means possible.
